Countries around the world that have received an invitation from the US government are busy calculating actual profits based on whether or not they have joined.

  President Trump seems to intend to take a new lead in the world by establishing the “Peace Commission” as a dispute resolution organization to replace the United Nations (UN).

Currently, 20 countries have announced their intention to join this “Peace Commission”, including Egypt, Jordan, Saudi Arabia, Turkey, the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Qatar, Pakistan, Indonesia, Vietnam, Belarus, Hungary, and Argentina.

트럼프 대통령이 가자지구 종전과 재건 목적의 ‘평화위원회’를 만들 것으로 알려졌다.

미국 정부의 초청장을 받은 세계 각국은 가입 여부로 실이익을 계산하며 분주하다.

그러나 유엔 상임이사국인 영국, 프랑스, 중국이 반대했다.

영국과 프랑스는 미국과 동맹관계임에도 평화위원회 설립에 반대 의사를 보였다.

트럼프 대통령은 ‘평화위원회’를 유엔(UN)을 대체할 분쟁 해결 기구로 창설해 세계의 새로운 주도권을 잡고자 하는 의도로 보인다.

현재 이 ‘평화위원회’에 가입 의사를 밝힌 나라는 이집트, 요르단, 사우디아라비아, 튀르키예, 아랍에미리트(UAE), 카타르, 파키스탄, 인도네시아, 베트남, 벨라루스, 헝가리, 아르헨티나 등 20개 나라이다.

한국도 미국 정부의 초청을 받은 상태에서 정부가 검토하고 있는 것으로 알려졌다.
