한국만 해도 벌써부터 주유소 기름 가격이 경유, 휘발유가 2,000원대에 이르자 시민들의 걱정이 크다.

이란이 호르무즈 해협에서 “한 방울의 기름도 빠져나가지 못하게 하겠다”면서 바다를 통제하기 시작한지 5일이 지난 지금, 기름난은 세계의 경제에도 미칠 영향이 어둡게 전망된다.

미국은 이란의 항복을 종용하며 “이 전쟁을 끝까지 가겠다”는 의지를 보이고 있는 가운데 불타는 기름처럼 불타는 중동의 정세에 세계가 눈과 귀를 기울이고 있다.
