일본의 세토내해는 일본 열도의 내해로, 규슈, 시코쿠, 혼슈 세 섬에 둘러싸여 있는데 이 지역은 3천여개의 섬이 존재하는 ‘다도해’이기도 하다.

그중 시시지마 섬에도 20여종의 봄꽃이 주민들에 의해 가꾸어져 여행객들의 마음에 아름다운 정서를 심어주고 있다.
