홍콩 북부 타이포 지역에 있는 32층 주거용 고층 아파트단지에서 발생한 대형화재가 세계의 뉴스로 보도되고 있다.

28일 현재 현지 언론의 보도로는 128명이 사망하고 200 여명이 실종 상태인 것으로 전해졌다.

홍콩 정부는 사망자 전원에게 위로금으로 20만 홍콩달러를 지급하겠다고 밝혔다.

또 피해가정에는 지원금 1만 홍콩달러와 생계 지원금으로 5만 홍콩달러를 지급하기로 했다.

이재민은 약 900 여명으로 임시대피소 8곳에 대피해 있다.
